What does business automation cost in Israel?
A single automation, like an inbox that sorts itself or bookings that confirm themselves, usually costs a few thousand shekels. A custom system that runs a whole process end to end is tens of thousands. The price follows how many steps and tools are involved, not hours. Mountop gives a fixed quote after a short look at how your business runs, so you know the number before anything is built.
What moves the price
- How many steps the process has. Sorting incoming email is one step; taking a lead from a form to a quote to a signed contract is many.
- How many tools have to talk to each other. Each system you already use (your calendar, your invoicing tool, WhatsApp, a spreadsheet) is one more connection to build and test.
- Whether the work needs judgement. A rule ("every invoice goes to the accountant") is cheap. A decision ("is this message a complaint or a question?") needs an AI step, which costs more to build and a little to run.
- Where a person must stay in the loop. A step that waits for your approval is safer and takes a bit more work to build.
- How clean your data is. If customer details live in three places with three spellings, some of the budget goes to tidying them first.
Three typical sizes
- One automation: a single repetitive job handled by itself. Examples: an inbox that sorts and drafts replies, bookings that send their own reminders, invoices that fill themselves in. Usually a few thousand shekels, built within a few weeks.
- A connected workflow: several steps across several tools, from first contact to the finished job. Usually around ten to twenty thousand shekels.
- A custom system: your own tool, portal or dashboard with AI agents inside it, replacing spreadsheets and copy-paste across the business. Tens of thousands, built in stages so the first part is working early.
These are ranges to set expectations, not a price list. Your number comes from your process.
What you pay after it is built
- The tools' own subscriptions, which you probably already pay.
- AI usage, which for most small businesses is tens of shekels a month, not hundreds.
- Support and improvements, if you want them, agreed in advance.
There is no licence fee for the automation itself. It is yours.
Why a fixed price
Hourly billing rewards slow work and punishes you for asking questions. Mountop works the other way round: a short audit of how your business runs, a plan with a fixed scope and a fixed price, then the build. If the scope grows, the price is agreed again before the work, never after.

Common questions
Is there a monthly fee?
Not for the automation itself. You keep paying for the tools you already use, plus a small amount of AI usage, usually tens of shekels a month.
Can we start small?
Yes, and most businesses should. One automation that works end to end teaches you more than a big plan. The next one is cheaper because the connections already exist.
What happens first?
A free call. Then we map how the process runs today and send a fixed quote. Nothing is built before you have the number.
Do we need to buy new software?
Usually not. The automation connects the tools you already have. If something is genuinely missing, we say so before quoting.
